OSKAR SCHINDLER’S FACTORY THEME: Krakow during the Nazi occupation 1939 – 1945 The story of the factory, its owner Oskar Schindler and the fate of the Jewish workers is known mainly due to Steven Spielberg’s film Schindler’s list. In 2007, the city of Krakow decided to arrange a museum in the former administrative building of the Oskar Schindler’s enamel company. The museum documents the Nazi occupied Krakow. Duration:The visit to the Oskar Schindlers’s facotry usually takses about 1,5-2 hrs. Program:Our English-speaking guide meets you outside the entrance to Schindler’s factory (address: ul. Lipowa 4). It is a private tour and the guide is booked only for your group. After the visit, the guide leaves you outside the factory again.
